UKIYOVERSE
OPEN THE INNER EYE
The Ukiyoverse is an original mythology created by Ace Maceo, published by Ukiyoverse Press in Chicago. It spans serialized fiction, in-world journalism, visual art, music, and interactive case files.
The Light Bringer Association
The LBA is a network of spirit detectives working cases nobody filed. Its motto: light reveals, will decides. Agent 0011 is Royal Aim. Andreas Maximus is an archivist and investigator within the same network.
The Reporting
A. V. Lorens is a journalist. Six months of his reporting begins at a thrift shop in Hyde Park and expands toward vanished artists, filmmakers, and an archaeological excavation. Soraya Quinn covers the same territory from a different angle. Their work is the entry point to the world.
Lux Scars
Liminal spaces where portals opened, where a ritual was performed, or where something happened that the location retained. The LBA investigates them.
Case Files
DIVINE case files are written-in investigations rather than books to read through. Case File 000: The Self covers the ordinary self, the shadow, and the Observer. Case File 001: The Agent covers alter-ego and hypersigil work.
